Hooray -- got it back together again - nothing broken, which I was surprised about, as it was banged around on the bus rides - upside down & thrown in every which way.
I'll take it out tomorrow and see how the bod & bike work together. I'm going to need a cane holder also.
I'm in Casper now for a one or two-month stint.. Paying attention to what my spirit/soul has to say about this detour.

A burning question. Does your bike have a name, and if not, why not?
Any faithful steed and companion deserves a moniker that represents it's best qualities. If you don't come up with a name, I will. (and I guarantee you don't want that to happen)
Just getting a chance to catch up on the blog. I truly appreciate you and Kimberly posting updates. What an amazing journey and I am glad we can stay connected through this blog.Keeping you surrounded in prayer...Love you both!
And so, the adventure begins. The bike is out of the box, the rider is recuperating, both are ready to start the journey as soon as body and mind get geosynchronous. I would like to hear stories of other people that have had (similar?) experiences.
I've been waiting for notifications, but my set-up must not have worked. Heard yesterday from a friend that your journey is having issues and just got caught up on your blog posts. I was so happy to have some information, and I'm really sorry things haven't all gone smoothly for you so far. But even up to this point, you've met some great people, had wonderful experiences, seen some country and you're not done yet. Every day brings more. I'm just so proud of a fellow senior for undertaking all the planning and travels you've accomplished so far. I once had a big plan, got stopped in my tracks, and went in another direction. Take the road left, right, or back up, it's all good. 👌🥰👍
